Information on Cockroaches

There are many species of cockroach in the UK, the most common are the Oriental, German and American cockroaches. An adult cockroach is normally a fairly large insect that has a yellowish brown or black colour on its flattened body. An adult cockroach has long antennae and two pairs of wings, they can breed very quickly and will tolerate many different environments. The average cockroach can live for up 6 months!

Infestations of cockroaches are becoming more common and can pose a serious health risk to both domestic and commercial properties. Cockroaches are a very distasteful pest and can prove difficult to treat without the relevant knowledge and tools. Commercial properties, especially food premises are at higher risk due to the potential of contaminated food.
